Osprey box has google play store can't you just install a VPN on the box instead of having to put it on your router?

YES, it also worked if you use a VPN app on the box itself. In my case it does slow down the box a lot, that's why I prefer a VPN on the router.  But thanks for the reminder, that using a VPN app on the box itself is also possible and usually

In my case both WiFi and Ethernet prevent me from updating the DirecTV Stream box. For some reason the box doesn't like some internet setups or the updates are somehow blocked by some providers. To update my boxes (2) I always have to activate a V

I have changed WiFi providers and when I try to sign into the account it sees my network name but it won’t accept my password even though it’s the correct password. I’ve tried every type of reset I can think of but it’s the second day and it still won’t let me log in.

I have a very old ROKU 3 and new ROKU premiere and on both I have the pause and LiveTV rewind options. Just checked to be sure I wasn't mistaken. As you mentioned it could be model dependent.

Additionally, except for the DirecTV Stream box, this feature also works on Apple devices and ROKU's. As far as i know, this feature is only missing on Amazon Firesticks.
