Channel line up
I would like to know why you would stop carrying the Newsman channel, but continue on with ALL of the left leaning channels. It may be time to find a new provider if this is the case.

DirecTV and Newsmax are in carriage negotiations. So far it is along the lines of any other channel, comes down to cost. Newsmax wants to add costs, DirecTV doesn't want to pay more.
If agreement is not reached by the deadline, then Newsmax could pull the feed while negotiations continue (playing hardball like some other channels, as is their right), or they could leave it on temporarily as a sign of good faith. In most cases, the feed being pulled is not the end of negotiations, just the next stage if the channel wants to take it that far.

DTV can't drop a channel until the contract is up.
