Dropping channels from a bundle

Is the any way to drop channels from a DirecTV Stream bundle?  Specifically, OAN. It is a problem for me to support an organization that routinely presents lies and untruths.

@Catskills_Dan @ahwhite I will continue to engage on here as much as I can with you and others.  Forgive my laziness for not tagging others but most are in this thread..

For anyone who has sought out the alternative streaming services we have discussed in the megathread (96pp last time I checked) I have discovered VuTV+ has their app available as of March for firestick so I have mine set up with their app and also NoraGO.  I am a bit disappointed that the OAN app there isn't the live app but am willing to give the service a try for a bit.   Not sure what other channels of theirs I will use but since it's month-to-month ad not expensive, I'll stay for a while.  I am mostly using Klowdtv for OAN now.  My directv equipment is powered off and I'm waiting for my email in <2weeks so I can return it.  I will also ask my neighbor who works for Mastec (DTV installs) to see if he can take it.  Maybe he will take the dish down too.  I'm not sure he even knows that I am done with the service, since the last few times I've seen him in passing, he's been on the phone while offloading his truck.  His wife would have seen my FB post saying goodbye to DTV so there's that.  Two of my friends commented, one said her parents are dropping too and another said he will be shortly.  I probably had 10ppl like it as well. 

I'm also still surprised people who were blindsided this week have popped on to express their disdain.  I'll comment if I see the thread but I know the mods just move them to the megathread as soon as they can.  I figure it will get to 100pp soon.

@Catskills_Dan Probably not a coincidence at all… just by monitoring the threads over the last several days, it appears a lot are canceling given the channel is officially gone. 

is it a coincidence DIRECTV stream has is running promotional packages with discounts to attract new customers?

I have the NoraGo and use in on my Firestick. There seems to bee two different OANN apps. The one you need is the OANN live.

Hey Friends - For those wondering how long their accounts here on the forum will last, be aware that I cancelled my service effective April 1 (because of the OAN issue), and yet I can apparently still post.  FYI.

Thr forum usage is separate from the DirecTV Stream account.

For DirecTV Satellite, call 1-800-531-5000.

For DirecTV Stream, call 1-888-429-4023.

With each post, we're increasing the "hits" and therefore the perceived popularity of the DirecTV.com domain name. Amazon used this technique extensively in its earlier years, and in some cases I believe they planted trolls to intentionally aggravate some posters and provoke them into a flame war (old school name for an online argument spun up in a way that would likely never happen IRL - in real life) and thus triggered a ton of extra clicks, which translated into more traffic, which translated into a perception of increased usage, which resulted in greater value assigned to the domain name, which triggered interest by investors, which triggered more news coverage on CNBC and the other business news outlets, yadda yadda yadda.  And once they emerged on top financially, they quietly shut down their online forum - it had served its purpose.  It no longer exists. And Amazon rules online retail.

For those who have ears to hear.

@Constructive @DIRECTVhelp, I wish they can bring back the DIRECTV XTRA package. If they do, there would now be 5 packages to choose from, and this would be the new order of packages.

  1. DIRECTV ENTERTAINMENT
  2. DIRECTV CHOICE
  3. DIRECTV XTRA
  4. DIRECTV ULTIMATE
  5. DIRECTV PREMIER

I wish XTRA could come back, and its new possible price would be from a range of $84-$89.
