Dropping channels from a bundle

Is the any way to drop channels from a DirecTV Stream bundle?  Specifically, OAN. It is a problem for me to support an organization that routinely presents lies and untruths.

No apology needed. Thanks for clarifying. This was an interesting thread because of some of the back and forth. Was surprised the whizzards left it going (and not combine it with a years old thread that muddied the waters) as long as they did. Have while in the forum. Still waiting for the cries to drop FOX WEATHER for spreading lies and conspiracies, after all it all part of the Fox traitorous networks.

@Catskills_Dan You hit the nail on the head for exactly why it’s critical that the states enact laws to protect integrity of voting and uphold constitutional law.  The current Fed regime won’t do it, instead they desire to suppress integrity. It may already be too late to prevent foreign nationals from voting with a thank you for open borders, but we will see this November.

I don’t get the lonely toons… it takes an ID to go to Social Security office, DMV, return an item at Walmart, go to a doctor,  fly, get alcohol, purchase a firearm, etc. However, requiring an ID to vote is suppression.  Talk about crazy town.

On the contrary, I found your posts intelligent and respectful. It was a welcome change from those who were toxic in general or even directly insulting to others. I may not be affected by OANN staying or leaving, but I certainly respect it is more important to others.

I don't care for drama but this thing got me wound up. By this "thing", I mean politicians and others getting involved in what we want to watch. I know, we've been through this before and I don't want to labor it. It has nothing to do with you. Another thing I can't stand is one group lumping certain people into another group; for instance, gun owners. We're denigrated whenever a crime is committed even though we've never done anything wrong with a gun. It's as if we are potential criminals just because we own such a thing. It seems like this type of stuff only comes from one side of the isle. Can you explain that to me?

And by the way Juniper, I'm not lumping you into any group by saying this.

"I predict more channels that do not align with the extreme left will be canceled... wake up all!"

They're already trying to cancel anything con.serv.ative.

"Launched in May 2004, Media Matters for America put in place, for the first time, the means to systematically monitor a cross section of print, broadcast, cable, radio, and Internet media outlets for (Edited per community guidelines) misinformation - news or commentary that is not accurate, reliable, or credible and that forwards the (Edited per community guidelines) agenda - every day, in real time."

I know I just posted this but I think it's an important reminder what the left is up to. Remember, this organization and others are adept at making something innocuous seem like criminal activity.

Not that simple for those who only have access to a dish… that’s a good percentage of the country.

If people have internet access, they can get OANN online. There is a plethora of streaming services that provide all the channels that dish sells

Vidgo looks interesting.   Monthy cost is about the same as Hulu Live, YouTube TV and Fubo TV.  I see some of my favorite DirecTV channels in their lineup, including Fox News, OAN and Newsmax.  Looks like they are month-to-month but offer a discount for quarterly billing. www.vidgo.com

Have you been able to see NoraGo? I found that Pluto TV has allot Also If you get a Firestick you can add the OANN app as well as the Skynews and Newsmax. I believe using NoraGo app Fox News was there. I was trying to get most without monthly fees.

@ahwhite I agree… just pointing out there are still many areas of county which have limited access to broadband internet.  Many homes only receive content via a dish.  Elons Starlink will someday solve some of these issues buy but the tech is fairly expensive for most.

Note letters from government officials on OAN citing similar concerns.

@SuzeP1245 Thanks for reference on Vidgo.  There channel lineup aligns to my interests very well.  Finally we have another good alternative to VUTV+ which is working for me at the moment.

I still might check out a trial of Vidgo though.  Hopefully they will come up with some Disney alternatives in their package.  From what I have been reading, many parents are likely to start restricting newer Disney content given its not so family friendly.

That was us until about three years ago. DirecTV and Wild Blue then  Exede both Viasat, and finally fiber optic. No OTA at all or cell. Back in the day antenna was 1 channel and all snow.
