Originally you could cancel DIRECTV STREAM online, but apparently they've moved that over to calling in just like DirecTV. Whether that is a temporary change or the reference to canceling online is outdated is unknown.
Verify you are calling the correct number and when you get the voice system say "cancel" to route you to the correct department. That should at least minimize the hold by not dealing with additional transfers. Good luck.
I have been trying all morning to cancel my subscription and I am SO frustrated. I drove across town to the AT and T store and they referred me to the website/phone. The website says you can cancel online, but refers you to the phone. The phone keeps you on hold for an hour before I gave up. HELP!
