Newsmax is my favorite news channel, but it is gone. Where did it go?

Newsmax didn't like DTV offer to renew the contact and walked away from future talks so DTV replace them with The First.

By "remain open" that sounds like, "If Newsmax initiates talks, we will listen". So not shutting the door, but requiring Newsmax to be the one to walk through as they will not chase them. I guess that is fair in business dealings.
