If you check out the master list of discussions here at this forum you'll find a much longer main discussion thread about this OAN issue. Personally, I just dropped DirecTV because of it, just formally cancelled within the last hour. I now have Roku and am using the KlowdTV to continue getting OAN, plus I switched to a combination of other streaming services - including F R N D L Y T V dot C O M and others, and am saving a ton of money. I'm not replacing every channel but only those I care about plus a whole lot more I have Prime, plus I've added Disney plus, Britbox, and am still saving a ton of cash. We've all been discussing these options in that other forum. Good luck!
I was watching OAN on KlowdTV a moment ago and also watching OAN on directTV at the same time. The programming isn't the same as DirectTV. What's up with that?
Were you watching OAN, or OAN Plus? Those are two different things. On KlowdTV if you watch the "Free" version you get OAN Plus, which is recently featured segments they've done, sort of a 'best of' from the last few days. But if you PAY KlowdTV the $2.50 per month (and yes that is only two dollars and fifty cents per month) you get OAN itself.
Another advantage to KlowdTV is their built-in on-demand option for most of their channels. If I want to watch, for example, Natalie Harp, but you just missed her show, the KlowdTV app lets you go back and watch any hour from the prior several days and even weeks.
I have Klowd on my laptop, iPhone, and TV (using Roku) and use it daily.
And @CMM3093 - to be clear - I am a paid subscriber to KlowdTV. I also am now a paid subscriber to F R N D L Y T V and find that I watch those two the most often. I also have several others, using my Roku, including a digital antenna which gives me FREE FREE FREE access to more channels than you might realize, including all local TV, but also a ton of other unexpected channels.
My family watches TV more than me, and they probably have been watching the digital antenna most of all, more than our DirecTV app, which I just finally cancelled. On the antenna we get WETA UK (a DC area PBS station that features British shows all the time), COZI (which is free over the air in the DC area), plus a bunch more I can't remember. We have more and are still trying different streaming services, each is month to month and easy to start and stop.
I cancelled today, about an hour ago. I took a few weeks to look into alternatives and discuss it with my family.
I was originally going to wait until April to see if they changed their mind about retaining OAN. But a guy in the other forum kept emphasizing that the decision was final, maybe it is, maybe it isn't, but I began tor realize that the announcement itself and the connection with the Move On Dot Org petition was enough to make me want to take some sort of action. So I decided then.
The icing on the cake: at a recent rally I watched on R S B N I heard our former President ask supporters to boycott over this, and that prompted the rest of my family - we all watched it - to enthusiastically get on board with this move.
So I finally set everything up, the family is already using the new apps, and we're set - and I just cancelled this afternoon. It takes effect the end of this month.
Loving the new content, loving that I'm keeping OAN through other means. And I've saving money! Couldn't be happier!

Others we are looking at:
and we already have
I think that's it. If you don't have Roku yet, or at least an Apple TV, GET ONE - I suggest ROKU! Get a $20 adapter at WalMart, you'll be thrilled.

I have a roku. there is a $5.00 a month OAN app available on roku. I wonder what that gets you over the $2.50 per month KLOWDTV app.

PLUTO - no - that isn't OAN, it is OAN PLUS. That isn't live OAN, it is something of a "best of" from recent broadcasts.
