The answer is a resounding YESSSSS!!!! After over 20 yrs. This is my post from earlier. Maybe it will help make the transition easier.

Ok I may be a little slow but woke up this morning and turned on 347 and imagine my surprise!!!!! No OAN. Called DTV and they said they are in negotiations with OAN. I have been with DTV for over 20 years and when there are negotiations, they put that on the channel information. They don't say this channel is no longer available.  Told them they are not telling the truth. Told them they took my program I will take back the one fifty I pay them every month.  They then said that OAN refused to resign. I am not stupid; I know they kicked them off the air which was confirmed when I did a google search. . Now I am looking for a new television service. I refuse to stay with DTV if they take my channel. Wish I had ATT cell phone so I could cancel that also. Called Dish but they do not carry OAN. I figure if they are making me, and a lot of others go thru all this trouble we should just start a DTV boycott and give them a little taste of what they are doing to us. So, all of you internet super posters lets get going and let them know how we feel. Hit every forum you can find and call for a protest of DTV. We will see who is more powerful, DTV or we the people who pay for DTV.  I think we the people will win!

Also got lots of great information on other services which will make my search for a new provider easier. see the following 3  Hope this helps

Don’t get OAN? to watch us on any device at OAN Live!

You can find One America News Network on the national providers:
KlowdTV at www.KlowdTV.com
CenturyLink PRISM – 208 (SD) and 1208 (HD)
GCI – 64 (SD) and 703 (HD)
Verizon FiOS – 116 (SD) and 616 (HD)
Vidgo at www.Vidgo.com

@Nomore11Sorry you were blindsided to all of this.  There is a giant megatheriid in here (80+ pages) where people have been expressing their disdain for nearly 3 months.  A lot of us have sought alternatives.  Mine's getting canceled today (making the call).  You can use a TiVo as@ahwhite has mentioned or other streaming devices such as Firestick or Roku and any smart TV I'm sure.  Check OAN's website for suggestions.  It took me a while to clear my dvr and getting used to streaming may take some time.  My cable company offers OAN but it would cost me another $72+ over and above bundled cable and internet prices so I looked into streaming options and people on here have been helpful.

Just an FYI. Tivo has a new product. It is the Streaming 4K.

Integrated streaming apps include:

  • Sling
  • Netflix
  • YouTube TV
  • HBO Max
  • Prime & Prime Video: “Prime” contains titles on Prime Video that are free for Amazon Prime subscribers. “Prime Video” contains titles available to rent or buy.
  • Hulu , Starz, Showtime & Showtime Anytime, Acorn TV, Peacock, & Peacock Premium, Paramount+, Discovery+, YouTube (consisting of YouTube original content), ABC, Fox Now., IMDB  TV, Pluto TV, Tubi, PBS
  • PBS Kids, Vudu & Vudu Free/Movies, Google Play

And you can download more as well.

Vutvplus has all the channels of DIRECTV with many conser..ative channel additions for only $15.95 a month.  Vidgo also conser..va..tive friendly and had OANN (thank you @SuzeP1245 ). @Catskills_Dan @ahwhite probably also have some suggestions.

Yes that is a cute move. Close all other post and then move them to a closed forum. Wonder who thought of that one. Doesn't matter.  There are many other forums so they cant shut us up. They will see the results in their pocketbook. They will know why. Why don't businesses see when they are about to impose a "Self imposed wound. " especially when they will not get the ones who leave back. We will move to someone who values our money.  What were they thinking. or were they thinking. Sad.

Their shutting down and merging all posts to one thats closed.  it seems like they  don’t want people to be able to speak their mind…. I guess it’s a damage control attempt.

Hopefully people research and do not rely on the phone rep reading from a script.

Removing OANN is just another way of censoring us. Now they are limiting what news channels we can watch. Here's a novel thought why don't you let us make up our own minds on what news we want. Some said it's because of declining viewership that's bull and they know it.  OANN viewership is increasing not like CNN's who viewership has declined drastically but they're still on the line up.  Can't wait till another tv cable or Verizon Fio's is in my area. Right now we're stuck with AT&T because they're the only other tv service besides Blue Ridge Cable in my area, and they don't have OANN either. Just order OANN Live, and as soon as I get my Roku stick I'll be able to see it on my tv again. AT&T is not going to censor what news I watch.

@stamps3223 there are plenty of streaming tV providers out there.  I was going to switch back to Verizon but the representative informed me they are directing customers to streaming solutions given internet, not cable, is their business priority.

Note VutvPlus and Vidgo both offer great packages for example.  Also TIVO just came out with a streaming 4K package.

Read in other threads that apparently UVerse also dropped OAN.  Customers are freaking out… hopefully they send the message with something that opens the eyes of corporate executives.

Pro1A Unfortunately my husband likes certain channels that AT&T offers. I had even tried going to a smaller package but they didn't have the western channel that he likes in it. So I have to pay $20.00 a month more for that. I too like my live shows. But I am getting Roku so we'll see how that goes. Verizon Fio's isn't in my area so we're really limited on how we can get a high speed internet. I sometimes feel I walk faster than my internet and that's saying a lot since I had surgery on my foot Feb1st.  Even worse than them dropping OANN is their customer service on trying to complain about it. As soon as you mention the reason for the chat they close it. As well as they closed several threads on the forum.  It's strictly censorship on their part, but not to worry they can't shut down all the access to it. I can also get OANN on my Vizio tv. But we won't forget how they treated us and AT&T will lose in the long run.

DirecTV sent everyone an email or some piece of mail telling us what they were going to do. Maybe what they should have done is sent us a survey instead. I'm sure their decision to drop OANN is going to lighten their pocketbooks a bit.

WOW - thanks for all the info people! I have limited access but I am going to find something else - SO tired of choices being made for US - The garbage they still have on there is just amazing. I did a little research and the viewership is non-existent for a lot of them but OAN is popular. BAD MOVE DirectTv!!

I love how of your are claiming you don't get choices---or programming decisions are being made for you. Such stupid (Edited per community guidelines). Don't have choices? Decision being made for you? Yet you can decide to have whatever tv service you want. No one is forcing you to subscribe to Directv or any other cable/satellite/stream service you have. U can subscribe to whatever you want. No freedoms? Why don't you all move to Ukraine and see what losing your freedoms is really about.
