Return equipment

I had to pay $400.00 for not returning my DirectTV equipment on time.  This equipment is no use to me, can I recoup any of my money if I sell it online?  Do people even use this equipment anymore and if so, what does he sale for?

You could sell them online, but only for parts as the receivers cannot be activated on the buyer’s DIRECTV account, they are only able to be used in the future on your own account.

What are the receiver models of all of the boxes that you have? I’d be able to tell you if they are worth selling (for parts of course) or are pointless.

Are just barely over the 21 day return or has it been months? If only a little over you could see about returning and having the charges reversed once logged in.

Gotcha. Yep at 1 year is beyond getting the NRFs reversed.

Model number can help to see if parts can be salvaged. Otherwise take to a local electronic recycling center.

Just make sure to remove the access card(s) and dispose of securely like you would a credit card.
