Cannot connect to Max with direct tv

I am having problems signing on to the Max App. It seems this problem has been going on for months with many people. Why hasn’t this been fixed?

Hi @Corgilady3. We're aware of the Max sign-in issue, and we're working with Max to resolve it. If you're on a computer, try restarting the Max app or clearing the cache and cookies, then attempt to sign in again.
