Can't Log In to DirecTV account

DirecTV website and app won't accept my log in information.

I can not change my password on either.  I have tried 6 browsers, 3 computers, and iPhone app.  Nothing works.

I get a message saying some form of "Something Went Wrong", "Incorrect user ID or password. Please try again. Care code: 201", or Care code: 201 [LU100]"

I went through the "Forgot USER ID" avenue... and I AM using the correct ID.

Help?

Is this a known problem?  What is the fix?

I understand.  But, my information is correct.

I have signed in to ESPN with my DirecTV ID with the same ID/PW and it worked.

I signed in to USA network and it worked.

I signed in to THIS forum... and it worked.

But, it won't work at DirecTV.com.

Are you a Sat. or Stream customer? Do you have an AT&T account?

Satellite.  Yes, I have an ATT account and I can log in to that with no problem.

It is the same log-in info as my DTV stuff.

That might be your issue. You don't want the same username/password for both accounts. Try changing your DirecTV login details.

Per my original comment:

I can not change my password on the DirecTV site or app.

I get to the "New Password" section, I choose a new PW, and it says "Something Went Wrong".

Has happened on multiple computers & browsers.

You'll probably need to change your email address login, too. If that doesn't work, then it's time to call DirecTV. Number below.

Can't do that either, because I can't log in.

When I try to create a new USER ID, I put my account number and Zip Code in... I get this error:

"We couldn’t find that account. Please check the info you entered. If you’re trying to register a Stream account, please choose that option."

Unless DTVhelp sends you a PM/DM then you need to call DTV.
