CARE CODE 205.4
I have a new Amazon Fire Cube TV. I'm trying to log back into my accounts (Starz, ESPN) through direct TV and I'm getting the Care 205.4 error. I've reset the password multiple times now and I don't really understand what to do.... I'm able to log onto the accounts on a iphone or web browser no problem so I know it's something with Amazon/Direct TV login

We know how important it is to have your services working properly and being able to enjoy your shows. This issue is currently reported that when attempting to log in to 3rd party apps with your DIRECTV Subscription, the error code 205.4 may encounter. Broadcaster Center is working to resolve.

I don't know if this work-around will work for you, but it worked for me. This was a suggestion from another commenter.
1. Go to your apps connect page and select DirecTV.
2. Enter your registration code and click on connect. This should take you to the DirecTv sign-in page.
3. Login to the DirecTv sign-in page as usual.
4. When the 205.4 error page shows, open another tab in your browser and login to DirecTv.com using your login name and password and accept AT&T terms.
5. This should bring you back to the DirecTv sign-in Success page.
6. You should now be connected to your app.

Thanks!! Good info I'm not sure how to open another browser in the espn app on amazon fire. Maybe if I just open a browser in general then save the info maybe it'll carry over

I am using Roku and it asks me to go to my apps 'Connect' page on my web browser. I use my desktop computer for that.
I don't know how Amazon Fire works with a DirecTv connect page.

Yeah I can login to direct tv account through amazon silk browser and I was even able to save the info... but when you goto espn app through fire it's using a different browser for the tv provider login... like SSO thing... but seriously appreciate the info!! I thought it might work!! hopefully they fix it cause it's super frustrating
