Change user ID email.

I cannot find a way to update a user ID email address for logging on. I have changed the billing email from the profile tab, but that does not apply to the user ID. I no longer use that email and wish to change the ID.

Hi @pbuckendorf,

Know your ID for myAT&T or DIRECTV and want to change it? Just sign in and follow these steps. (A user ID was formerly known as an AT&T Access ID.)

Here’s how to change the ID you use to sign in to myAT&T. Want to use an ID you already have for another account? Go to the Combining IDs section.
  1. Go to Profile > Sign-in info.
  2. Select Change your user ID.
  3. Enter your new ID. If you enter an existing ID, we may offer to combine them.
  4. Check the box to save your ID, if available.
  5. Save your changes.
