Credit for Direct TV from Hurricane Ida

I was out of power because of Hurricane Ida from August 28 through September. My home was flooded and I am still not living in it until we complete the repairs. As of 12/25/2021, I am still not using DIRECTV at my home. We intend to move back in by January 2022 when repairs will be complete. I am inquiring about a credit for the months of September through December 2021. I equipment was flooded and recently replaced. My address is 237 Somerset St in Laplace, LA

This is a customer to customer forum you have to contact DTV, it would be best to suspend your account until you can move back in but unless DTV has extended the suspension rule for the hurricane the most you can suspend the account for is 6 months per year.  DTV doesn't know if you are using the service or not so long as you have an account you are billed.

You have posted your info on a public forum for the world to scam you.

There is no website you should be posting that on, you need to call.

Just to let you know, support for DIRECTV Services has moved to the DIRECTV Community Forums site. If you slide over forums.directv.com, you’ll land in the right place. 😊

@directv_community_forums Why do you keep posting that reply over and over on multiple posts on the Dtv Sat and Dtv stream forums???
