Direc TV Lowering the Bill
We have been loyal customers for over 17 years to Direc Tv and every year they keep raising the bill!!
In 2018 we were able to speak to a wonderful rep at a home and garden show who was able to get our bill down to $77.00 dollars.
We only have the Choice package and the Sports package. We do not have any movies such as HBO or any of those programs.
We also do not have a fancy box that you can record the tv shows. So now our bill is $95!!
Is there a way to get that lowered?
Any help would be appreciated.

The only way to reduce the bill is to lower the channel package or reduce the number of TVs. Like all companies DTV has to raise their prices as their costs go up. Are you complaining to the gas stations when their prices go up?

Networks keep charging TV providers more over the years. So their costs go up, then so do our bills. Just like gas prices are no longer $0.99 a gallon, prices go up over time.
To discuss lowering your bill you must call customer support. Any agents at stores, or home and garden shows, should be 3rd party retailers who are not allowed to touch existing accounts, only start new service (which if you have an existing account would be fraud).
Review the channels you watch to see about possibly lowering the package. Certainly ask about discounts, but know they are temporary if available.
