Directv Account access fraud department and EBAY Scam
ATT has not been helpful. I was a victim of the Ebay scam and Directtv is well aware of this. The main part of the scam is that your account is access and services turned on so it seems like it is Directtv. I tend to think that it is an inside job.
I have been trying to contact and it has been months of runaround and no straight help. As a Directtv customer I at least expect that their customers are warned and measures put in place to protect our accounts.
Still trying to contact the right department. When I ask for the Fraud department I get switched to the telephone fraud. I have now been routed to the Directtv theft and ID department but still no answer.
It is clear the Directtv is not interested in assisting in this matter.

of course they arent interested, you got scammed by a scammer who conned you into buying gift cards for a deal that was too good to be true., it wasnt directv nor are they responsible. its a civil matter contact the police

And just WHAT would you expect AT&T/DirecTV to do? Refund the money?
Inside job? No.....the scammers are accessing your information on the "dark web".
I've said it before: WHY do people feel the need to answer every phone call and then even worse, engage in something so sinister?
You choose the behavior, you choose the consequences.
