DirecTV account not managed by AT&T
I am unable to log into my DirecTV account and I get the message noted below. My old ID and email is kykats2595@bellsouth.net, which is probably the issue.
"Looks like you’ve tried to sign in unsuccessfully too many times. Recover your ID or reset your password to continue.
CARE CODE: 205.2 [LU003]"

First off, please don’t share your email address or any personal data on the forum. To answer your question, you would need to call DIRECTV at +1 (800) 531-5000 because it seems that there have been too many failed password attempts to login into your account. Say that you need to recover the ID and change the passcode and then you should be able to get your online account back in good standing.

You can also try to reset your passcode online but you should probably change it over the phone as seeing that message could technically mean that your account was previously hacked or exposed on the Dark Web.

Let's try these easy steps to recover your ID:
1. Visit https://direc.tv/3tvLcwi and sign into your DIRECTV account, select Forgot user ID?.
2. Enter your email address or account number.
3. Select Continue.
4. We'll send your user ID to the email address on file.
