Linking MLB Extra Innings to MLB.TV account

When I try to link my MLB Extra Innings subscription to my MLB.TV account I receive the following message: We were unable to verify your subscription access with DIRECTV. Please try again. If the problem persists, please contact your provider's customer support.

I get the same error:

Activation Error.  We were unable to verify your subscription access with DIRECTV.

when I try to link my MLB Extra Innings package to access MLB.tv.  I tried chat but no one could resolve.I'd like support to get this resolved.  Thank you.

Same. I had the same issue with NBA League Pass so the problem is definitely with how Directv authenticates with the leagues. So frustrating. I’ve opened a ticket and got the same “we are working on it” lame response. How about testing it before the season?

Have you refreshed your service and package via online account? This step could help you to authenticate your subscription on MLB.TV

Make sure you are following the correct process to activate your MLB.TV account:

1. In a browser, go to: https://secure.mlb.com/tv/activate/
2. Select DIRECTV as TV provider.
3. Authenticate using your DIRECTV.com login and password.
4. Create the MLB.TV login and password.

Before completing this process, verify you are using an updated browser and clear cookies and cache.

Have you tried to clear cookies and caches of the browser? We recommend that you use the most updated version of Chrome for better results.

Have you tried to activate your NBA online account via NBA activation website
? Please verify you are selecting DIRECTV Satellite as your TV provider.

Tip: If you had an account, the system will redirect you back to the NBA League Pass Broadband Subscriber Agreement. Read the NBA League Pass Broadband Subscriber Agreement and, if agreed, check the box next to I have read and accepted the above subscriber. Click Continue.

It may take up to 48 hours to activate your account.

To make sure the NBA website accepts your subscription, you can update and refresh your package
via DIRECTV online account.

I've done everything you mentioned.  Nothing has resolved the problem.  I chatted with five different agents today.  They all told me to do what you told me to do.  To be clear, I get far enough in the link process to give MLB.com my Directv login and password, only to be told that Directv tells them that I didn't pay for that service.  Yet your chat agents verify that I did pay and that it's recorded correctly.  The error is:  "Customer Service Code: VALIDATE_INVALID User Not Entitled For Adobe Resource [ADOBE_MLBTV]".  I need support.  I can't think of anything else I can try. Thank you.

May I also add that I have tried this via Chrome and Edge, with the same error.

I am having the same issue linking Extra Innings to MLB. I have spoken with numerous representatives over the past two weeks. No one can figure it out. If this many people are having issues they can expect to give several refunds as we are paying for services we are not able to receive because they can't fix the issue.
