Loop between ATT and DirecTV online.

In trying to create an account online in order to pay the bill that way and after typing in my account number, I get the following message "Sorry we could not validate your information.  If this is a DIRECTV account please go to directv.com to manage the account. (RBV136)" When I go to directv.com, I'm automatically redirected to ATT, where I get the same message. It's a loop with no answers. Has this happened to anyone else?

When you sign into the link above do you still receive the same error message?

Can you log in from a different device?

We suggest that you clear you cache and cookies, then attempt to sign in again. Does this correct the error?

I cleared the cache and cookies and still got the error. I have tried it on Chrome, Firefox and Microsoft Edge, all with the same result. It appears to not recognize the DirecTV account #.

@dlamberth.

  • It sounds like you have 2 logins that are conflicting, so if you haven't already, you may need to Combine your IDs so they recognize your credentials.

  • In the meantime we'd highly suggest checking out our article on Ways to Pay your Bill to use an alternate method to pay your bill this time so that this matter doesn't cause you to pay your bill late.
