Mlb Extra Innings account linkage to other accounts

I purchased  a Mlb Extra Innings account, and it would not link up with my mlb.com account or my Roku account.   I had to cancel the purchase so I would not be charged.  How can I purchase Mlb Extra Innings with the confidence that I will be able to link it to my free Mlb.com account and my Roku account?  I will not purchase it otherwise.

What do you mean by link the accounts and what do you mean by you purchased an MLBEI account? What exactly are you trying to accomplish? I don’t know if MLBEI on Directv includes access to any streaming options or not but if it does, you would simply log into the streaming service using your Directv credentials.

Mlb Extra Innings  is supposed to allow you to link Roku  and Mlb TV, so that you get the extra channels on Directv as well as what Roku shows on the Mlb Channel, and what you can stream on Mlb.com.  However, I called Mlb.com, and they gave me the link that I need, but they explained to me that I cannot link the other two accounts until the Mlb season starts.   After that, they said they could help me do it.
