my promo package is due to expire shortly but I still have a year on my contract. Can I get another
I joined Direct TV 1 year ago with a Promo package I thought was the length of the program. I was informed the promo ends Oct 20th and I still have a year to go on the contract. I can not afford the regular price of Direct Tv. I am between a rock and a hard place. Which means I will have to cancel my service if I can't get another promo package. I also do not want another 2-year contract.

Your best bet is to call and ask .... 1 800 531 5000
But don't expect to have that sweet deal continue. Promotional prices are intended to attract new customers. They don't last forever. If you can't afford the full price, consider dropping some channels or equipment. Canceling now when only halfway through your 2-yr contract will hit you with an expensive early termination fee.

You can call but there are no guarantees that there will be any discounts, you can lower the package or reduce the number of TVs. So why did you order it if you couldn't pay for it?
