Ongoing technical problem - need executive escalation
Hello. I've had a case open since October 15 regarding a DirecTV website issue. I've spoken to over 10 reps and no resolution.
I sent a paper letter to Michael D White and received no response.

scheduling and managing are different things. its been my experience that scheduling works at times, and doesnt work at times
its hit and miss
and as for staff, very seldom does directv reply. this is a customer to customer forum for the most part

DTV swapped out my DVR with a new one, and since then when I log into the DirecTV website it says "0 of 1 receivers connected" and "Genie HD DVR (offline).
I cannot perform "Manage DVR Recordings" because the website doesn't think my DVR is connected.
My DVR is indeed connected to the internet. It says so when you press "-" (dash) twice, and I am able to schedule recordings using the DirecTV iPhone app, and I can use On-Demand.

you cant manage recordings on a dvr via the internet anyway

Sure you can. You can view the program guide on the website and schedule recordings to happen on your DVR - just like in the iphone app.
Thanks for your interest in my problem -- but I will hope that DirecTV staff will help me.
