Pathetic unprofessional lying customer service

On August 15 I went through my app to change my DirecTV package. It wouldn’t complete. Therefore I went to the website. When I got yo the checkout I got the same error with grayed out fields. The package I was signing up for was the select package for $79 per month plus the Movies and More package for an additional $4.99 per month. The app and online both had it offered with a $200 visa gift card plus an additional $50 gift card for signing up online. I couldn’t complete it that way so I had to use chat. I chatted with a guy for about half an hour who assured me he had taken care of it and that I got the package I wanted plus the gift cards. 
Flash forward to September and I get a bill for $154. No change to my package. I spoke to customer service about the issue. I got cut off as and was not called back so I called them back I hit another person who was clueless and of no help. This one said her supervisor would contact me that day to help me. I never received a callback.

I’ve been a customer for over 5 years. I don’t need this frustration. There’s other methods of watching television. Cable is sounding really good right now. At least I have 2 choices there. I’m checking out Dish as well.

Those prices and the gift card are for new customers only.

Select would never come with a gift card especially a $200.00 one.

It was an offer available through my AT&T rewards. I have the top tier cellphone service eithvthdm as well.
