Promotion for Direct TV service

I had called after my last billing cycle about any current promotions and I was told I would get $15 off my service but my bill is the same as last month?? I am on a fixed income and have a son who is in the hospital following a heart surgery 2 weeks ago. I was hoping to save some on my service either the Direct TV or internet.
