REMOTE ORDER

We have ordered a remote control twice.  Neither have shown up.  I received a text "check on order status".  I can't check due to not having the order number.  This is a new nightmare with same company.  It took over a month to get DirectTV installed and another 2 weeks to get the internet.  Communication is not there.  How do I find out what the problem is and how to get my order filled?
