Robber barrons. Be aware of tiny print if service discontinued after billing date you pay for an entire month

I have been an att consumer for 55+ years a dtv for over 20. Due to many attempts to lower my bill and never being able to. Not talk to a person / long hold times.
I decided to discontinue service low and behold there seemed to magically be a way to lower bill. I was so disgusted by this patronizing. When I called on 8th they promptly told me my bill cycle ended on 5th so I would have to pay for an entire month. No wonder consumer confidence in your company is at an all time low. I have also initiated the sale of my att  stock as you are no longer the company that has been a bedrock in this industry.

Final bills are not pro-rated.  That's the industry standard.

This also applies to internet service.

Just FYI, that change to not prorate the final month was made in January of 2019. You should have received an email notice but it was also in your bill. Sorry you missed it but it shouldn’t have been a surprise. Oh, and nobody cares whether you sell your stock but bedrock in the industry or not, the only reason to buy or sell is how is the stock performing.
