Scam Call or Not

Yesterday, 12/12/20, I received a phone call from 1-844-962-3879. This call went to my voicemail. The voicemail indicated they were from AT&T Direct TV and they wanted to let me know that my account qualified or 50% off and in order to obtain the discount I had to call them back on the number I saw on my caller ID. I want to make sure this is not a scam and is legitimate before I call this number. So, is this legitimate?

NO!!! It is a Scam.  They got $325 from me because I thought they were the real deal.  They were able to program my TV while I was on the phone with them so I believed that they were telling me the truth.  They were offering me 6 months of free DirecTV. All I had to do was make a one time payment of $325. But it had to be made with an Ebay gift card. The guy said eBay was the sponsor of this offer.  He said I would not have a payment for the DirecTV part of my bill from AT&T until March of 2021.  I was so so stupid for believing him. While I was on the phone with them they added all the movie channels and all of the channels that I currently did not have.  So, I thought they were really DirecTV.
