Still ongoing

Rec. call from foreigner stating he was from ATT asking if I wanted a reduction in monthly bill from directv. All I had to do was purchase a gift card and use that as payment for 1st 2 months. These people are a waste of oxygen! Unfortunately, some people fall prey to these piranhas! Please don’t.

Ditto.  But, I did not pay BUT am still getting billed for Premium service.  Have spent HOURS with various reps and still not getting resolved.  So even if you didn't lose any money to the scammer ( Brian) you still get billed !!! What a racket!!!!

We make it our top priority to keep our customers information and accounts safe @Superjpe!

Thank you for reaching out to us in regards to this matter. Receiving a fraud call can definitely be concerning. Let's ensure your account is protected!

Here are some resources we have on fraud and how you can report fraud communications.

Please keep in mind that AT&T will NEVER ask you to send us your personal or account information via text or email.

Also when we call out to a customer, we have your account info so we would not need to verify any personal info other than whom we are speaking to. Anyone asking for that information, you may assume is a fraudulent caller.

Please let us know if this helps you with your concern!
