Update email address
I need to update my email address so I can access my Direct TV account on-line. Attempts to update my email address using the Direct TV number 1-800-531-5000 have been unsucessful - 3 calls, the agents said they would update my email address but it never happened. Any suggestions - should I just put the Direct TV equipment in a paper bag & take it to UPS and dispute DirecTV charges on VISA?

800-531-5000 has been called 5 times during the past month with no results. We did get a resolution by engaging DTV in a chat session. The nice DTV agent provided a temp pass word, then advised us to use our old email address as a user Id then we gained access and checked out the correct email address and established a new password - this worked after providing an error code for the first failed attempt. Life is to short to deal with a massive AT&T megalithic morass. In addition AT&T's decision to drop OAN was more than we could handle and combined with DTV's big monthly charges we plan to quit. We can get all the TV we need by streaming including local news, OAN, NewsMax, WeatherChannel, and save more than $120 per month. I wish OAN sucess in their action against AT&T.
