website issues with account overview page

directv.com on desk top computer or any access to internet, when signed into account, i can manage billing, see bill, manage profile, etc, but it does not let customers "manage equipment".  When clicking on blue bar for manage equipment, it takes you to a blank page. this has been happening for months.  Nor can a customer view account packages and make changes.  come on Directv! get it together.  for the price i pay for this service, I should be able to handle my account online and not have to call in and go through 10 prompts to get a representative that i cant understand at all, that is reading from a programmed script over and over!

Whats the problem with your website????????????

AND BRING BACK NEWSMAX!!! I PAY FOR IT!!!

This is a public forum full of customers so we aren’t responsible for DIRECTV’s mistake.

Your account is having this issue because it used to be managed over on the AT&T side and since DIRECTV and AT&T are now two separate companies (TPG owns 30%), all account management has shifted over to DIRECTV.com

During this process, many accounts have been messed up. As you state, seeing the bill, managing equipment, and changing a package are all unable to be performed with the website issues.

No one here has an approximate date of when DIRECTV will finally fix the issue, but hopefully soon.

If you want to talk about your bill or change programming,  call DIRECTV and say ‘billing’ to the robot.

As far as NEWSMAX, DIRECTV and them were unable to negotiate. Thus, the channel was dropped for all subscribers. While it could appear back the chances are getting unfortunately slimmer. If you want to cancel call the number in my greeting below for SATELLITE And say ‘cancel’ to the robot to be sent to the retention/loyalty department. As a note, all leased equipment gets returned to an authorized FedEx or UPS Store for the free return.
