MLB is postponed not canceled so until they do billing continues.

Did you receiver a conformation email acknowledging the cancellation last year? If so then you have to call DTV to fix it.

You have to call DTV to cancel anything notes in bills doesn't do anything.

I have the same issue. In this time of financial crisis, they have the nerve to charge you for channels that don't even appear in the programming due to the suspended season. When I call for help with the issue, no one is available to speak to about it due to the corona crisis. These calls should be taken from reps at home. This would keep them working and paid as well as not rob me of the extra money that is important to survival right now. I may just go stop payments at the bank till they call me to fix this.

I am in complete agreement. I have called repeatedly and tried to use the online chat service. The one and only time I have spoken to a person, it took over an hour to get NO ANSWER. I understand the season is suspended and not cancelled but I'm looking for assurance that we will be issued a relevant credit for the money you are basically robbing us of right now while no games are being played! This is totally unacceptable!

Even if the season resumes at some point, they will not play a full season and I will still expect some sort of credit for the amount of games missed!!!

@neil732 They billed you for that back in March, right about the same time MLB decided to postpone the season. It's just due now......we'll see what they do going forward.

I had that same concern then looked at my April bill and saw that the first payment for MLB Extra Innings was billed on March 14th for a season that was supposed to start on March 26th. MLB announced a postponement of the MLB season on March 12th. There is no way they could have rescinded that billing item by March 14th so I don't have a gripe with that. Having said that, now they know and they should suspend MLB payments and adjust them once we know how many games are going to be televised and prorate it....we'll see.....

I looked at my April bill yesterday and it was billed yet again. That prompted my post yesterday. I'm not a happy camper!

They charge because they CAN.... LAST Years response from them was ”just because they’re rebroadcasting games from YEARS AGO”, doesn’t require them to suspend your monthly charge. They say they are still providing you with the channels , so you have to pay.  They say they have NO CONTROL over the networks.   Same garbage they say when they drop channels from your channel line up.  Does your bill go down...nope.

Directv has been gouging subscribers for years, and services have been getting worse since AT$T bought them.  I finally quit them after 20 years,  and have not  looked back.....
