1080p/24 Trailer Good News

I downloaded the "Hulk" trailer yesterday from on demand channel 1100 and confirmed that my Sony KDS-60a2000 would NOT accept a 1080p/24 signal. I was able to get the 1080p resolution checked in the HR20's HDTV screen by pressing "info" but it was a false acceptance so I unchecked the 1080p box. That's the bad news. The really good news is that the trailer was spectacular playing in the 1080i setting and the sound track was the very best I've ever heard playing on my AVR setup. So, to all of you who's 1080p TV will not accept the 1080p/24 signal, all is not lost. Apparently all of the resolution packed into the 1080p programming that Directv will be furnishing is still of great benefit even played at 1080p/60. I'd be interested in hearing from others with a similar setup.
