18 inch Direct TV Dish

First of all, I appreciate everyone on this forum. Having the ability to read the threads and responses have helped in the transition to Direct TV. 

I have a question about the 18 inch Direct TV Dish. I am looking to purchase a satellite dish for tailgating. I originally purchased a Slimline 5 LNB dish, but it was too difficult to set up at the tailgate. I am in the process of trying to sell that dish and want to purchase either the 18 inch dish or the 3 LNB.  I have read various opinions on which one I should purchase.  I basically want a dish that gets a good picture and is easy to set up.  I understand that the 18 inch dish does NOT get HD programming.  My question is does this dish get the local channels as long as you are within the mileage from your home address?  The stadium is approximately 10 miles from my home.  I do not want to be without ABC, NBC, etc. 

If anyone has any suggestions or opinions on weather I should get the 18 inch dish or the Tripleset 3 LNB dish please feel free to respond.  I have an HD receiver (H24-200), an HD/DVR receiver, and 2 standard receivers so I have the equipment for either to work.
