2nd WVB connection

1st WVB is connected directly from SWM8 and passes through to the Genie HR44.

To install a 2nd WVB for a remote C41W, does it only have to connect to the SWM8 and power?

Will it need to be in a certain proximity to the 1st WVB?  or the Genie?

Will it use one of my "8" ? / Can I split one of my "8" to add this unit?

Can it be attached to a "Legacy" port?

Thanks in advance

No, there is only the coax length limit.

You need a 2way SWM splitter to add the second WVB, there is no spacing requirements except the 150' coax run limit. No you can't use a legacy port. Only tuners subtract from the 8

And is there any proximity to the 1st WVB or Genie requirement ?

(or is that all handled by the SWiM?)

Hello @sterlinga, we would like to step in and help you with this one.

Wireless Video Bridge and Wireless client like C41W must be a minimum of four feet apart. Should be placed no further than 80 feet apart and have no more than 5 internal walls between them. It works the same way with the 1st WVB.

We'll be here in case you need further assistance or if there is any additional question.

By the way, we appreciate your assertive and accurate response @shannon02.
