30 second skip / 30 second slip

When watching a recording and you press the button to fast forward 30seconds, you see the programming fast forward 30 seconds. This is called the 30 second slip. The way I prefer it is the 30 second skip way. When you press the button it just skips forward to the 30 second point. The way to swithc between the two to find out which one you prefer is like this:

Press "Menu"

Highlight "Smart Search" then press Select

Punch in "30skip" using the keypad, press Select

Use the on screen alphabet to punch in "30skip", then highlight "30skip" and press Select

Highlight "all" then press Select

Highlight "Done" then press Select

Now try it!

If you dont like it, then you can just follow the same steps but use "30slip" instead.

It worked on my HR23-700 as well. Pretty sure it will work on any HR20+ receiver. Not sure about standard DVR'S though
