4K service

I currently have 2 TV's on my account, 1 is 4K, the other is a smart TV but not 4K. How do I upgrade both to receive 4k programming? Also, will I be able to view the 4K content on YouTube on both sets with this proposed upgrade or is there anything else I need to do?

Thanks, Bill

You need an HR54Genie or HS17Genie2 to get the 4K channels and you need the wired C61K mini connected to the 4K TV to view them in 4K.   DTV has nothing to do with any streaming content as those have to be connected to the TV.

You would need to change the other TV to a New 4K unit and add a c61K-700 to each tv's to receiver D*TV 4K programing

Also a HR54 or Hs-17

To receive 4K, you need a 4K TV. Must support HDCP 2.0, HDCP 2.2, and 60 FPS.

You will need a C61K on each 4K TV as that is the only box that delivers 4K.

To support the C61K, you need either the 3rd generation Genie (HR54) on a 3rd TV (if you want 4K on both, or the Genie-2 (HS17) as doesn't go on a TV itself (though forbids all other receivers).

If you are not getting a new TV, then just do the HR54 and 1 C61K. Recordings don't transfer from any DVR you have. But there are only a few channels in 4K (plus some PPVs) so may not be worth it.
