5LNB w/ H20 - no signal on 110deg sat - coax or alignment problem?
I am doing my own install of a 5LNB dish with H20 receiver. I have the Acutrac 22 Pro meter, and the alignment procedure seems to work per the instructions; however, when I'm all done, I am unable to see any signal on the 110deg satellite. I get all normal programming, local HD (I'm in Boulder, CO), but no national HD. I have four ~60' runs of Carol Cable C5785 (legacy from my orig round dish installation, but supposedly tested to 3GHz) which is a Cu-clad steel core, a Zinwell WB68 6x8 multiswitch, and crimp-on connectors (might change to compression, if people think it will really help), but could it really be the cable and connectors that are killing my system? Or am I just bad at alignment? I also wonder if I'm just locked onto the 101 and 119 sats with the wrong LNBs. I get 75-85 sig strength on most of the 32 101deg transponders, some signal on 3 of the 11 working 119deg transponders, but nothing on the #8, #10, or #12 110deg transponders (which are the only three that are supposed to work).
