A couple of ways ....

1. Log into your DirecTV account at www.directv.com/refresh

2. Call DirecTV .... 1 800 531 5000

Solving a problem created by AT&T themselves is NOT a solution. They need to admit they {edited for word filter evasion} and compensate people. I've heard they are charging $100 to come to your house to repair this. That is like your car dealer breaking something on your car, then having you come in, pay the diagnostic fee and the labor to fix it.

There's nothing they can do in your home to "repair" a 722 error issue. It's totally account-related.

I have had a 722 error code for three days.  I have been told it is related to my zip code and the engineers are working on it.  the problem is no one will communicate how long it will take to fix the problem.  i have called several times and the 6 different people I have talked to have all tried to correct the issue but they cannot get me my programming fixed. At this writing (third day of no service) there appears to be no time frame for fixing the issue.  The engineers need to communicate and get off their three day coffee break and fix the issue.  Dish tv is looking better every second.  However no one at directv cares if I come or go.  I wonder are the engineers people who are living in the 1800's when engineers rode trains instead of living in the present day and have some knowledge of how to fix this problem.
