771 and counting

I have had DirectTV service from 4 months after it was launched. Great service. Went though all the antenna upgrades. I now have two H20 receivers one is 100 the other is 600. Have the slim line dish with 5 lnb's. My dish is rock solid it did not vibrate in 60 mile wind gusts. No obstructions. I live in sunny California. Two separate lines to each receiver,no splitters. Short runs, very little exposure to the elements. Connections rock solid. I have very high signal strengths on both receivers,100's,upper 90's and upper 80's. One mysterious 55.

Last night,I had 8 loss of signal outages in the span of an hour starting at 9:15 PDT to 10:15 PDT. Not a cloud in the sky,no wind. I can go for months without a problem, then suddenly this flurry of activity with loss of signal. This all started with the new receivers H20 in December,2005. Then the problem clears up by itself and I will go 6,7,8 months without a problem. This happens on both receivers but more so on the 100. I have concluded the problem is on DirectTV side. They are doing something on their end, preparing for new channels and what not. This will happen any time of the day,in spurts. Just when I'm about ready to complain, the problem goes away, then may come back in a week or many months.
What do the techs think about this?

edit: This seems to be happening at a time when the D11 satellite was handed over(my theory on Direct TV involvement causing the 771's) Thank you. 🙂
