771 in clouds and light rain

New customer. Service was installed on Sept11/12, 2011. Each time we have clouds and light rain, we get the 771 error.  It has happend on 3 different days.

 

 

 

Here are my numbers (but the rain has stopped):

99c was all in the 60's and 70's during the rain and are nowhigher.

 

 

Satellite transponders (32 total at 101º)

Those readings look great now.  It might not be an alignment issue.  You might have a loose coax connector or defective LNB that's allowing moisture inside.

There are any number of variables here, so best to start your own new thread using the "Create New Post" button on the main forum page. Your problem may very well be different from the original poster's. With a new thread you can provide more information about your equipment, location, and troubleshooting you've tried so far. And this forum software makes it difficult to track or respond to folks that add onto someone else's thread.

Yes I have, I was responding to the OP to say that this is just a fact of life with DTV per DTV tech that completely checked my whole system.
