771 no signal on this snowy night in the Northeast

I just contacted Direct CS a while ago and they are flooded with calls from PA to MA about this outage. It's due to the current weather situation and that a first snow always has this affect almost every year. It's not your equiptment cuz you would be getting another meg if it was. 771 means it's just not picking up signal from the sky right now due to that big glob that's over us right now. But I'm climing up on the roof tommrowo and checking everything. Just wanted to know that since I'l be up there is it a good idea to put some silicone onthe dish as well?

thanks,
shawn
