771-Signal loss on Satellite In 2
I have been having the problem of not having all high definition channels. Some channels will come in high def others will not this is happening on all of the TV's in the house. I contacted DirecTV a week and a 1/2 ago I was told that directv was aware of the issue and that they were working on it it's now going on week number 2 and I'm still having the same problem.

There's no system-wide issue that DirecTV is "working on". You talked to a lazy support rep.
What DVR/Receiver model numbers do you have?
99% of these problems are caused by dish misalignment. Please post back with your signal readings for each satellite's transponders (and both tuners if applicable). You'll find these readings under "Menu" -> "Setup" -> "System Setup" -> Satellite -> "View Signal Strength". Note the "+" and "-" symbols next to the "Satellite" and "Tuner" entries where you can toggle the readings between the various satellites and both DVR tuners.
Fill in your readings for each satellite and tuner using these examples. A properly aligned dish will show 80-90s on most of the relevant transponders (although some will be low or zero):
