Add 2 tvs to whole home svc

I have whole home service and 4 hd dvrs connected. I want to add 2 tvs to kids rooms. Ive looked around here but havent seen my scenario. Is there an 8 way splitter someone can point me to? And can you purchase the swm conectors to add to each reciever online or do you have to get them from dtv? I am assuming i have to buy 2 receivers

Kids rooms have cable runs already

Does your satellite dish have the SWM built-in, or do you have a separate SWM switch?  Look to see if you dish has one or four satellite cables connected to it.  If it only has one, then you're already maxed out because that dish only supports 8 tuners (4 DVRs).   You would need to replace that dish LNB with a non-SWM LNB and add a SWM16 switch to it.

Your best bet is to call DirecTV when you're ready to add those two new Receivers. They'll upgrade/replace your dish as needed to support all of your equipment, typically for only ~$50.

how would this new HR-34  work for me? Would I be able to substiute it for one of my existing recievers without the need for change to dish?

Maybe.  The HR34 requires 5 of the 8 SWM channels because it has five tuners.  That only leaves 3 SWM channels for you other DVRs/Receivers.  That's enough for one HD DVR (2 tuners) plus one Receiver.  Or three Receivers.   Anything more than that would require a dish LNB replacement.   But DirecTV will take care of all of that if you add equipment that requires more capacity than you currently have.  Have you called them?
