Adding a new receiver to my house

I would like some guideness regarding adding an additional receiver to my house. I have 4 lines going to 4 different receives around the house (I  don't have HD or DVR in any of the rooms) from the Satellite Dish. How can I add an additional receiver to my setup ( I read about using a splitter but I am not sure if that it is possible).  Any Help will be appreciated

Thanks

As you're aware, there are four coax connections on the dish and they are all in use. To get more you need a multiswitch that will connect to all four of the dish feeds and supply added ports to power all of the boxes in the system. We usually recommend a Zinwell WB68. Remember, you'll need to connect all four coax to the switch. You use the first four connectors on the left top of the switch connected in random order to the dish feeds.

I only want to add a receiver (NO HD/ NO DVD).

Do I still have to purchase a ZinWell WB68 ?

Yes, you need a Zinwell WB68 to expand the dish's four outputs to eight.  That will give you the fifth output that you need for your additional receiver.

You can call Directv and have them install the new receiver.  I think the cost would be $49 which is a lot cheaper than buying a switch and rerouting coax etc.
