Alexa say " having trouble communicating"

My Alexa worked just fine until I got new equipment from DIRECTV. I connected the new equipment to the internet but Alexa say " having trouble communicating". Of course DirecTV is no help and amazon says DirecTV is responsible.

What new equipment did you receive? What receiver is connected to the Internet and how? (wired via Ethernet or wirelessly)

Do you retry Alexa setup with the DIRECTV skill? What device are you using to set it up?

Wireless. CK17. Disabled and re enabled skill. Uninstalled Alexa. Re installed

That is not a DTV model number but is a streaming box so do you have the streaming or sat DTV service?

I have a HS17-100 and two C61K -700. The Alexa skill say tge HS17 is able to be used with the skill but the accompaning C61K can be.

The HS17 is not connected to any TV so the minis control it.

I get that. So do you know why alexa can't communicate with them. DirecTV menu shows they are connected to internet. 


NEED HELP?
