the problem with apex is everytime they released a new player the scrambled the keypad, The Ir signal used for power on one model my be play on another. remote manufacturers couldn't keep up, and shouldn't have to. There are 13 apex dvd player codes in the rc65: 20672, 20717, 20755, 20794, 20795, 20796, 20797, 20830, 21004, 21056, 21061, 21100, 21480.
I would try 21100 first.
