Audio issues after nationwide HDDVR reset today

My HR21-200 was out this morning about 7:30am EST & I did the receiver reset x2 as suggested and that fixed the problem . . . been watching TV all day.

But NOW after the DirecTV remote reset I'm getting horrendous audio static on some channels, effectively making them unwatchable.
