band stop filters - H23-600

I have the MRV setup.  On my bedroom receiver, an H23-600, they put a band stop filter, between receiver and deca.

Should this be on there.  It seems that I'm reading that no band stop should be used.  However, the picture is just fine.

Does it matter?

It probably won't hurt anything, but the BSF isn't needed on an H23 that has a DECA module attached. Effectively, the DECA module is its own BSF. Except for the HR20-100 which requires a unique DECA setup, the only receivers that need a BSF are those that are not connected to the DECA network... typically SD receivers.
