HR20s (HR20-100 & HR20-700) will be the only HD-DVR requiring a specific wiring setup for integrating with DECA/SWM setup.
Yes, BBCs are gone and out of the picture. That comes with SWM. Now, the HR21 and up will be powering the DECA itself, but the HR20 isn't able to do that. It will have an addition to what you know for the other models. The sat in feed (assuming the router connection is in another location) is still just one coax into the room, but there will be a power-passing splitter involved along with the DECA module, and 2 separate connections to the IRD. (Sat In 1 & 2)

Just a heads up any model that is not the 24 series will require a inline component with the SWM/DECA. The 24 series will have built in MOCA and they will not require nothing more then the DECA. Just found out yesterday.
A DECA dongle is still required to connect to your network for use with On Demand, Media Share or Directv2PC or MRV sharing with non-Hx24 receivers. Although DECA uses a form of MoCA, it uses a different frequency than standard MoCA (other MoCA devices are not compatible with the satellite signals on the cable).
Actually, DECA and MOCA use different frequencies (the MOCA frequencies overlap those used by the satellites) so the H/HR24 receivers have DECA built-in, not MOCA. MOCA and DECA are not compatible or interchangeable.
irishntn: sungam's correct .... the H24/HR24 have DECA built-in, not MOCA. Of course, some folks simply consider DECA a variant of MOCA. But the main point is that devices designed specifically for MOCA (Cable TV) will not work with DirecTV.
I think there's just some confusion over the terms and the technology, because while DECA is DirecTVs implementation of MoCA technology, what others may call MoCA is not the same as DECA because of the frequency difference. I think it's best to stick with the term DECA when talking about DirecTV's system to avoid any confusion.
