Blue tooth audio
When I connect my Beats earphones the TV audio turns off. I’m sure this is by design, but I’m hard of hearing, thus the earphones, but my wife wants to hear the Tv audio as well. Is there a way to have both the Tv Audio and the blue tooth earphones simultaneously?

You need to check your TVs manual. You can try connecting the transmitter to the DTV receiver.

TV doesn’t have Blue Tooth capability, The Direct TV Genie is the platform I’m connecting the Earphones with. So, I’m hoping that the C71KW Genie has a feature to allow both audio outputs

Until the C71KW came out none of the DTV receivers has Bluetooth, to connect wireless headphones you needed to connect the transmitter to the audio output and it doesn't turn off any other DTV receiver audio outputs.

Thanks, last question
my Beats earphones did not come with a transmitter, are these available, and would you recommend a particular product?

You need to contact them or get a set that has a transmitter. AFAIK the C71KW Gemini does connect to Bluetooth headphones and still outputs audio.
